Rolling Hills Transit is dedicated to providing accessible content to all individuals. We offer alternative accessible formats for our materials to accommodate diverse needs. While we strive to ensure the availability of these formats, there may be instances where limitations arise.
These accommodations may included but are not limited to:
- Braille: A tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired. Information is represented through raised dots on paper, allowing users to read with their fingertips.
- Large Print: Printed materials with larger text and images to aid individuals with visual impairments.
- Audio Formats: Information presented in audio form, such as audiobooks, podcasts, or recorded lectures, to assist individuals with visual or reading disabilities.
- Accessible PDFs: PDF documents designed to be compatible with screen readers, including proper tagging, alternative text for images, and other features for enhanced accessibility.
- Easy Read Formats: Simplified versions of written content with clear language and visual aids, often used for individuals with cognitive disabilities.
- Captioned Videos: Videos with captions or subtitles to make content accessible to individuals with hearing impairments.
